metin cakanyildirim,美国德克萨斯大学达拉斯分校教授，善于利用构造数学模型来反映现实生产经营问题，并利用优化方法或启发式方法提出科学决策。研究领域涉及能源、航空、酒店、零售、租赁、半导体等。
自2010年起metin教授担任informs-dfw分会主席，担任education and the associate executive director of the pom society副执行主任。加入global association for risk professionals (garp)，council of supply chain management professionals (cscmp), institute of supply management (ism)等协会。担任msom期刊副编辑和pom期刊高级编辑。
